Thumbdex doesn't require an account. When you scan your thumb, we generate a random anonymous ID and store it in your browser to associate your scans without any sign-up.

The photo you submit may be stored, along with your anonymous ID, the scan timestamp, and the resulting analysis. Stored images may be used to improve thumb analysis and ranking accuracy over time.

Thumbdex does not perform biometric identification or facial recognition. Scans are evaluated as visual measurements of a thumb, not as a means of identifying you.

If you'd like a scan deleted, contact thumbdex@shabadoo.works — deletion tooling is not yet self-serve, but requests will be honored as this mechanism is built out.

Thumbdex scores are algorithmic estimates generated for entertainment. They are not scientific or medical assessments and should not be treated as such.
